I am a D.C.-based copyeditor, writer, and grant writer, with a specialization in international development studies and international affairs.
I’m interested in how newspapers cover development issues and how to incorporate data in storytelling. I've written and copyedited for think tanks in the United States and Bangladesh, UCLA’s SPJ-winning paper, and the largest English daily in Bangladesh. The Daily Star, Bangladesh's premier English daily, and Daily Bruin, UCLA's campus newspaper. I adore and continue to advocate for Oxford commas, no matter what Associated Press style says.
